The main building of the Quinta Santo António, from the 19th century, where the family lives, has been restored with all the original features preserved.
The several rustic outbuildings were converted into six apartments for the privacy and comfort of our guests.
The capacity of all farm apartments is 15 pax plus 5 extra beds (fold-out beds for children up to 12 years).
Palheiro A: One-bedroom apartment with a charming bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom decorated with typical Portuguese tiles and a bathtub, a comfortable living room with fireplace, and equipped with a kitchenette. These two apartments (Palheiro A & B) can be connected.
Palheiro B: comfortable T0 apartment with a bathroom decorated with typical Portuguese tiles and a bathtub, an "open space" with twin beds, and a living area equipped with a complete kitchenette and a dining table. These two apartments (Palheiro A & B) can be connected.
Alambique I: One-bedroom apartment with a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with bathtub, and a small living room with kitchenette. These two apartments (Alambique I & II) can be connected.
Alambique II: One-bedroom apartment with a bedroom with twin beds, a bathroom with bathtub, and a small living room with kitchenette. These two apartments (Alambique I & II) can be connected.
Casa do Padeiro: T2 apartment with a room with double bed, a second room with a single bed, a bathroom (shower), a living room and a kitchenette ideal for 3 pax ( a couple with a teenager)
Quinteiro: T2 apartment with 2 rooms (a double bedroom and a twin bedroom), a bathroom, a living room and a kitchenette for 4 pax.

Quinta de Santo António is the ideal place to be in harmony with nature and relax or to participate in our rural experience. There is the possibility of numerous activities just a few kilometers from the Quinta and the area invites you to go hiking or cycling, horse riding or even donkey rides!
Melgaço is also the favorite destination in Portugal for lovers of extreme sports, and we will be happy to organize your experiences at preferential prices. For those who prefer contemplative activities, the possibility of watching 147 different bird species in the Peneda Gerês National Park, or discover the megalithic tombs of the 3rd century. These Celtic fortifications dot the hills or the tenth-century castle in Castro Laboreiro.
In addition to all the wineries and old houses in the region, harvesting and wine tasting, several restaurants with typical cuisine from Minho or even a spa at Termas de Monção... activities abound in this area!
